It is a holiday that gets a lot of flak - manufactured, they say, a Hallmark holiday. And that part is true. But I say yes to any opportunity to celebrate love, especially in today's divisive world.
And so we celebrate the day of love from sun up to sun down in this house. We say yes, welcome, bring on ALL the hearts! We fill festive bags for little school friends, we eat cookies and candy, we wake up to balloons and stuffed puppies and exclamations of "Happy Valentines Day, Mom!"
Hope your day was filled with love, too.
(Let's just not talk about the lengthy absence between posts, ok? I'd like to be back, now. Maybe. Wink.)
